Elm – A Great House with 3 Bedrooms, Guest Room, Study and a Grand Living Room in the Double Height Extension

The Elm is an unusual house with a big living room in a double height extension with a sloping roof. It has 3 bedrooms and attional guest room and study which could of course be used as bedroom 4 and 5. The house is great for a big family or a smaller family with an office at home.

Ground floor:

Starting from the main entrance: There is the beech wood stair case to the upstairs and a WC/shower room on the right.
The guest room is right next to the shower room.
Going through a double door you enter the open plan dining room/living room area with the kitchen to the left. French doors allow you to go outside from the dining room. There is the entrance to the study on the right.
From the kitchen you have access to the spacious utility room on the left where the combined heat exchanger system and hot water tank can be located. The utility room has a door to the outside which is useful for bringing in your shopping.
The grand living room opens up in a double height extension with big French windows and two French doors to the outside. The big windows provide plenty of light. From here you can admire the natural beauty of the wooden rafters and purlins of the sloping ceiling.

First floor:

Upstairs there is a generous bedroom with en-suite shower room fitted with basin, shower, toilet and towel rail radiator and a generous walk-in wardrobe.
The second and third bedrooms have an equal size. There is access from the master bedroom and the second bedroom to a balcony. Across the landing there is the main bathroom with bath tub, shower, double basin and towel rail radiator.
There is a useful utility/storage room upstairs which gladly takes up your cases, Christmas decorations etc.
