The house is a beautiful 5 bedroom, 3 storey house with about 243 m² (GIA) living space. The architecture of the house was determined by the planning permission for the house in a road with Mock Tudor houses in a conservation area. The interior is a bespoke design matching the requirements of the owners.
The house is very energy efficient, it scored an energy efficiency A-rating
The house was finished 10 days ahead of time with erection start on the 26th February 2013 and acceptance on the 20th June 2013.
The house is shortlisted for the Build It Awards 2014.

After passing the air-tightness test with flying colours with 0.84 m³/(hm²)@50pa (which is more than 3 times better than required), the SAP energy certificate was finalised and the "Trojan House" (looks like a Mock Tudor on the outside and is a contemporary, very energy efficient Stommel Haus home on the inside) scored a straight A.
